Child Safety Standards

Last updated: April 22, 2026

TMF International ("we", "us", or "the Company"), a company registered in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, operates Trunk Call — Talk to Anyone (com.trunkcall.app), available on Google Play and the App Store, and the associated websites trunkcall.app, brands.trunkcall.app, and justyou.trunkcall.app (collectively, the "Platform"). These Child Safety Standards describe how we prohibit and combat Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation ("CSAE") on the Platform, in compliance with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy for social and dating apps.

1. Zero Tolerance for CSAE

Trunk Call has a strict zero-tolerance policy toward Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation. The following are strictly prohibited on the Platform:

  • Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) in any form, including images, video, audio, text, drawings, animations, or computer-generated content that depicts minors in a sexualised manner.
  • Solicitation, grooming, enticement, or any attempt to engage a minor in sexual conversation or activity.
  • Sharing, requesting, or trading CSAM, or links to such material.
  • Sexual extortion ("sextortion") of minors, or threats relating to intimate imagery.
  • Trafficking, commercial sexual exploitation, or any offline sexual harm of minors facilitated through the Platform.
  • Content that normalises, glorifies, or promotes the sexual abuse or exploitation of minors.
  • Use of the Platform by any individual under the age of 18.

Any user found engaging in the above conduct will have their account permanently terminated, their content removed, and will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement authorities and child-protection organisations.

2. Age Requirement

Trunk Call is intended exclusively for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly allow individuals under 18 to create accounts, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we become aware that an account belongs to a person under 18, we will terminate the account and delete associated personal data. Suspected underage users may be reported via the mechanisms described in Section 4.

3. Prevention and Detection

We take proactive and reactive measures to prevent CSAE on the Platform:

  • Phone-number verification— All accounts are verified via one-time password (OTP) to a phone number, creating an identity trail.
  • Content moderation— Reports of harmful content are reviewed by our trust & safety team, and violating content is removed.
  • User controls— Every user can block, mute, and report other users directly from their profile, chat, or call screens.
  • Account bans— Offenders receive permanent device-, phone-, and payment-level bans to prevent re-registration.
  • Regular review— We regularly review these standards and our detection practices, and update them as our tooling and applicable laws evolve.

4. Reporting CSAE

If you encounter any suspected CSAE on Trunk Call, or content or conduct that endangers a minor, please report it immediately. We triage CSAE reports as the highest priority and act within 24 hours of receiving a credible report.

In the Trunk Call app:

  • Open the profile of the user you wish to report.
  • Tap the menu (⋯) in the top right and select Report user or Block user.
  • Select a reason (including "Child safety / CSAE") and submit.
  • You may also report individual messages or nuggets via their context menu.

By email (preferred for CSAE):

Child Safety point of contact — childsafety@trunkcall.app

General safety — safety@trunkcall.app

When reporting, please include: (a) the username or phone number of the account involved, (b) a description of the content or conduct, (c) the date and approximate time, and (d) screenshots or other evidence where safe and lawful to provide.

5. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

We comply with applicable child-protection laws in every jurisdiction where the Platform is available. When we identify apparent CSAM or credible CSAE activity, we:

  • Preserve the relevant content and account metadata in accordance with applicable law.
  • Report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline where required or appropriate.
  • Report to INTERPOL, the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), local law enforcement, and other child-protection agencies as applicable.
  • Respond to valid legal process from law enforcement in the jurisdictions where we operate.

Law enforcement inquiries should be sent to legal@trunkcall.app.

6. External Resources

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. For non-emergency reporting of CSAE content or behaviour, you can also contact:

7. Governance and Updates

These standards are reviewed at least annually and updated to reflect changes in our product, applicable law, and industry best practice. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by in-app notification.
